Mount Abu Winter Festival

Nestled amidst the Aravalli Hills, Mount Abu transforms into a cultural paradise each year during the Winter Festival, held from December 29 to 31. Organized by the Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation (RTDC) and the Municipal Board of Mount Abu, this vibrant celebration honors Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage, offering an unforgettable experience to visitors.

A Celebration of Art, Music, and Dance

The festival showcases the heart and soul of Rajasthan through traditional performances, including folk dances like Ghoomar, Gair, and Daph. The enchanting Sufi Kathak performances and live music concerts leave audiences spellbound.

The opening ceremony features a colorful procession starting from Shikhar Hotel, winding through the lush surroundings, and concluding at Nakki Lake Chowk. The lake becomes the centerpiece of the festival during the mesmerizing Deepdaan ceremony, where hundreds of lamps float on its waters, creating a magical ambiance.
